About Julia Lang

After more than a decade in direct service and nonprofit leadership in the homeless service sector, Julia shifted into social impact consulting in 2021. As a Consulting Manager, she partnered with organizations to strengthen their internal capacity, help them strategically plan for the future, and supported scaling their impact. Her work focused on improving homeless, healthcare, and behavioral health services (often the nexus of all three via CalAIM). She blends human-centered design with best practice frameworks, enabling organizations to operate more effectively and sustainably.

Julia launched her own business, Julia Lang Consulting, in Fall of 2024. Julia is known for her ability to lead through change, design programs for the people using them, and improving organizational process and culture for the people working within them. She prioritizes strong partnerships, thoughtful communication, consensus-building, turning chaos into order, and desiging more functional/realistic systems. Julia Lang brings practical strategies, and tailored solutions to every collaboration.

When her work hat is off, you can find her hiking, running, or riding her bike through the Bay Area hills (probably while singing), making up a recipe with whatever she found at the Grand Lake Farmer’s Market, or spending time in her sweet community.
